Diane Wright "The 1930 Census Taker"
The story of Betsy Hough and her visits around town taking the 1930
census for Uncle Sam. She tells about the people, the houses she visits
and what the census is for.
Diane has been researching family history for over 30 years and is a
volunteer at the Corona Family History Center. She loves traveling around
the United States always with family history and cemeteries in mind.
She is active in the historic community including Corona Genealogical
Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, Corona Historic Preservation
Society, Corona Heritage Park and Friends of Sunnyslope Fence Fund in
Corona, which researches the Sunnyslope Cemetery and does the Cemetery
Stroll every year. She retired from AT&T after 30 years, is married
with children and enjoys all things regarding family. Diane writes a
blog for the Graveyard Rabbit. |
